Wow , then we morn and God finds you out (thus Ps 51) Dry bones , repent . I’m able to move on say both , Baby dies , more pain . Then come another baby Solomon ,later King Solomon , both ancesters to our Lord Jesus . Moral of this story ? You can’t fix the past ,but you can get right with God. Us and God, Team up 2 Cor 6:16-18
2 Cor 7:1 speakes of us having these promises.Just spoken in the previous verses. So to paraphrase 7:1 and 6:16-18,I could say since I am the temple of God,(being born again , He garantees me He will dwell in me. and walk with me,(selah) I’m going to be THEIR GOD,and they shall be my people, They’ll need to be different and separate from the world , I will be a real Father to you and you shall be my sons and daughters. Remember I’m the LORD ALMIGHTY. Cleanse yourself , don’t let yourself be robbed by defilement from these promises of My presence in your life.Learn to cleans yourself Physicallyand spiritually, grow up in holiness.6:14 is the essence of it all , do we want fellowship on a God level , light and more light, then walk and fellowship with the God of light. Promise 1. He’ll recieve us (daily 2. Be a Father to us 3. We’ll be His sons and daughters 4. Dwell in us 5. walk with us 6 be their God 7. They shall be my people. April 1 and no fooling!!!!!!
Micah 6:8 What does the Lord require of you?
Micah 6:8 is so loaded. I like Micah ,he was the country prophet. While Isaiah ,his contemporary was speaking to kings , Micah was proclaiming God’s thoughts and words to the common folk.But he spoke of a God who so wnated to show mercy to His people. Back to chapter 6:verse 8 1. To act Justly some say justice is getting what we deserve.Mercy is being spared what we deserve,and grace is being given what we don’t deserve. So in God’s eyes to do justly is to stay on course ,in knowing we serve a God who is balanced in all 3 areas ,so we must also “to do justly “walk as He does a. Justice (right and wrong, Loves mercy, quite a balance wouln’t you say and finally walking humbly with your God. Peter says God gives grace to the humble.Walking in humility is receiving of things you don’t deserve.Like God’s favor and annoiting on your life, just because He purposed in His heart for you in Christ to be in His favor. The first fruits offering establishes the law of “first things first” in your life. First fruits, which belong to God, govern the rest and set the pattern — and position the believer to receive the promises of God. Are you really saved / Eternal security ?
In going to a funeral, I’ve never heard conversation , no matter what the fruit or lifestyle the deceased led that anyone was wondering about their eternal destiny ,everyone talks of so and so being in heaven. We really need to know, right? I have a site you can go to. Just because you called Jesus Lord ,may not be enough !!!!!! God’s $$$$ , Makes cents!
I’m so poor ,I cant give. I understand the thought. But stop and consider what your giving is called scripturally. It’s called seed. Jesus spent a lot of His time teaching . Much of His teaching was in parables. The parable in Mark 4:13 and Matthew 13 of the sower is a founding parable. In it (Mark 4 he says (Verse 13) if you understand this parable ,and you’ll understand the rest. This parable is about a sower. You might say a spiritual farmer. Everyone is a spiritual farmer one way or the other. But your physical giving is not the only criteria involved. Hebrew 4:2 says even the gospel has no power until accompanied by faith. You must take the time to consider your giving.
For instance I give because God says to. Not bad but what else does He say about your giving. 1. He say do it because it creates in you a generous spirit. 2. It (like fasting ) steps away from natural process . Natural says” if I spend I wont have it.” That’s true” in the Natural”but Tithing and giving are not natural. Look who’s involed in your giving in 2 Cor 9:9-11.the promise is there or it’s not. Vs 10 says He (God) will do certain things. How do we know? How do we know we’re saved in Christ. We’ve been so persuaded that it literally became spirtual substance(Hebrews 11:1) James says faith without accompanying actions is dead. Well let me tell you so is actions without accompanying faith. Being fully persuaded (Romans 4:21) that what God has said He’s able to perform is not just good it’s absolutely necessary. (More later) (Please study these verses above)

I heard a Story of the Late John Wimber , the founder of the Vineyard movement. In training this young minister in the Lords ministry of Healing, he told the young man do you know what I feel when I start praying for peoples healing? The young man said “what”. “Absolutely nothing”said Wimber, not to mean no one can feel things . Oral Roberts almost always experienced a heat in His hand , But what we feel isn’t as important as the value we put on God’s Word. Someone said “not those word of Faith folks” but a word of Faith is what God speaks . If He say “I am the LORD that heals you” Guess what you can count on it. If He says “all my Children will be taught by the LORD” my job is to believe it and accept it and rejoice in that Holy FACT !!!!!!!! So when God shows Himsef extrordinarily or nothing spectacular His wonderful word doesn’t change. Whew whew. Glory . Pastor Dee
